A pesar de que propició la muerte de un individuo que
desyerbaba en el Anillo Periférico y dejó a otro lesionado de gravedad, un juez
ordenó la liberación de Luis Humberto Embriz Villanueva, a quien le fijó como
medida cautelar ir a firmar hoy y acudir mañana a la audiencia de vinculación a
proceso penal.
No obstante que los fiscales solicitaron que se le
impusiera cárcel preventiva, el juez de control Luis Armando Mendoza Casanova
consideró que no era necesario.
Los fiscales insistieron y pidieron que se le colocara un
brazalete electrónico, pero igualmente el juez rechazó la solicitud.
Días antes se había declarado como ilegal su detención al
no asentarse en el informe policiaco la hora del evento.
La audiencia de vinculación está programada para mañana
miércoles a partir de las 12:30 del mediodía.
Embriz Villanueva está acusado de causar la muerte de
Melchor Ocampo, quien desyerbaba en el Periférico junto con su hermano
Wilfrido.
Ambos fueron atropellados por un remolque que se
desprendió de la camioneta que conducía Luis Humberto
El accidente se registró el pasado 5 de agosto del año en
curso, alrededor de las 14:30 horas en el kilómetro 41 del Periférico.
Ayer también un juez liberó a Jonathan Rey Torre Alvarado,
quien manejaba ebrio en la avenida Quetzalcóatl y atropelló a una mujer que se
dispanía a cruzar un paso peatonal.
El sujeto arrastró a su víctima y le causó heridas de
gravedad que a la larga le ocasionaron la muerte.
La decisión recuerda también a la insólita que tomó la
jueza de Control Elsy Villanueva Segura, quien liberó a ocho traficantes de
pepino de mar y ordenó una investigación contra los policías que los
capturaron.
Tras hacer comparecer a los policías que participaron en
la detención, la juzgadora liberó a los violentos traficantes de pepino de mar,
