MÉRIDA, Yucatán.
Con el voto de 4,957 militantes del PAN, Raúl Paz Alonso, se convirtió en el
presidente del PAN en Yucatán para el período 2015-2018. Su contendiente,
Alfredo Rodríguez y Pacheco alcanzó 2,815 sufragios.
Sergio Angulo Uc, presidente de la Comisión Electoral del
PAN estatal, informó que en total se registró el voto del 73% del padrón integrado
por 10,097 militantes.
Como se sabe, en la misma jornada, los militantes también
votaron para elegir al presidente del Comité Ejecutivo Nacional con el
resultado siguiente: Ricardo Anaya Cortés obtuvo 5,161 sufragios contra los
2,375 que fueron depositados a favor de Javier Corral Jurado.
Al conocer los resultados Paz Alonso agradeció y felicitó
a la militancia por haber confiado en su proyecto y por acudir masivamente a
las urnas.
Así fue como los panistas de Yucatán estrenaron su
derecho elegir mediante el voto a su presidente estatal, cosa que anteriormente
se hacía por medio de los consejeros estatales.

Alfredo Rodríguez y Pacheco, quien de inmediato admitió
que no le favorecieron los votos, agradeció el respaldo de los miles de
panistas del interior del estado y de Mérida, que con su sufragio demostraron
libertad de decisión y la certeza de que la esencia del PAN sigue viva para
muchos.
“Eso es motivante para continuar el trabajo partidista
desde mi trinchera”, expresó.
Agregó que esta contienda le permitió vivir nuevamente el
fervor de las batallas con el entusiasmo que da la convicción, privilegiando la
ética y la congruencia, valores con los que seguirá adelante.
La elección
nacional
De acuerdo con reportes en el ámbito nacional de la Comisión
Nacional Organizadora de la elección con el 79% de las actas computadas,
Ricardo Anaya se perfilaba como el virtual ganador de la elección.
Héctor Larios, quien preside la referida Comisión Organizadora,
dijo que Anaya Cortés aventaja con 146,063 votos (81% del padrón nacional) a Corral
quien llevaba computados 29,928
sufragios (16%). Se calcula que habría votado un 50% de la militancia de todo
el país.
