Llegó el momento para que los panistas elijan a quien será su nuevo presidente estatal, decisión que está entre dos personas Alfredo Rodríguez y Pacheco, ex senador, y Raúl Paz Alonso, diputado federal con licencia y diputado local plurinominal electo.

Es una elección interna, pero por ser la segunda opción política más importante en el Estado, interesa a la sociedad entera.

Hay panistas conocedores de la doctrina que les legó Manuel Goméz Morin, y recitan muy bien frases como: “El PAN surgió de la sociedad para la sociedad”. Ciertamente surgió de la sociedad ¿pero hace cuánto tiempo dejó de ser instrumento para la sociedad?

Otra gran frase panista es: “El PAN no surgió para ganar elecciones sino para formar ciudadanos conscientes”. Pero ¿hace cuánto que los neopanistas han querido parecerse a la maquinaria priista que hasta han llegado a comprar votos, aunque lo nieguen.

Y hay dirigentes y dizque panistas que recitan los principios del PAN: “Solidaridad, subsidiariedad, Bien común y Respeto al a dignidad de la persona humana”, pero ¿hace cuando que sólo los recitan y no los asumen? Tan es así que en esta campaña se dieron hasta con la cubeta, todos contra todos, sin respeto alguno.

A 71 años de su fundación, el PAN, en 2001, ganó por fin las elecciones presidenciales, por tres causas fundamentales: el hastío que existía contra el PRI, la confianza que había hacia el PAN y la excelente campaña mercadológica de Vicente Fox.

Se ganó todo 

Y fue tal la efervescencia que aquí en Yucatán el “efecto Fox” coadyuvó para que se gane la gubernatura y la mayoría en el Congreso local.  Y los panistas creyeron que podían ser igual que el PRI; es decir que se perpetuarían en el poder por el simple hecho de tener todos los cargos de elección en las manos.

Pero duró muy poco el gusto. El siguiente sexenio perdió la gubernatura y la mayoría en el Congreso. Y de los 50 ayuntamientos ganados, apenas retuvo 38. Y ojo, que no fue el PRI el que propició esto ¡fueron los propios panistas! Se equivocaron al elegir internamente a un candidato que no generaba confianza hacia afuera.

El descalabro interno que repercutió 100 veces más en lo externo fue de tal magnitud que hasta Ivonne Ortega Pacheco pudo capitalizarlo y ganar las elecciones de 2007. Hasta ahora, por esa mala decisión de la dirigencia y de sus militantes el PAN sigue sin recuperarse.

Luego perdió la Presidencia del país e incluso quedó en tercer lugar en las preferencias electorales. ¡Después de tenerlo todo!

Ante un escenario similar

Hoy se presenta un escenario similar. Y aunque no se trata de elegir autoridades externas, se trata ni más ni menos de escoger al que representará al PAN. Aquí no habrá escrutinio externo, no habrá elección constitucional, pero una mala decisión, como la de 2006, puede generar otra profunda crisis.

Reconocer que los panistas se han alejado dela sociedad, no basta, no sirve para nada, si en los hechos, con legitimidad, se hago algo tendiente a ganar la confianza perdida, y en los hechos es que se está haciendo exactamente lo contrario.

Los mismos errores

En esta elección se están cometiendo los mismos errores: 1. La dirigencia no hizo nada para garantizar a la sociedad que los candidatos propuestos tengan el mejor perfil, con antecedentes limpios… Como hubiera querido Gómez Morin, como lo que aspira la sociedad entera.

Escudándose en el argumento de que el PAN todos pueden participar en lo que quieran si están a salvo sus derechos, como sucedió en 2006, a la sociedad se le puede recetar la peor desgracia política, como sucedió en 2006, ya que su elección interna no quedó en lo interno sino que fue la causa fundamental para que todos los yucatecos seamos desgobernados durante cinco años y que nos hayan endeudado para otros 50 más. Los amarres que hay de por medio entre “lideres” panistas, generan una especie de cargada hacia el candidato más cuestionado y con recursos y otros ofrecimientos tratan de ganar la voluntad de la militancia.

Lo que los aleja de la sociedad

Ahora, en este último filtro que viene a ser la elección, toda la carga queda bajo la responsabilidad de los 10,879 militantes que son quienes con su voto, libre o no, decidirán ser cómplices o no, de quien representa el anti PAN.

Esto es lo que produce el alejamiento de la sociedad, que por un lado pregonen valores y por el otro impulsen a quienes representan exactamente lo contrario o se lavan las manos porque no pueden coartar derechos.

Y que les quede bien claro que su “decisión interna” repercutirá hacia toda la sociedad, que no les quepa la menor duda. Señores militantes no se equivoquen, no nos sigan recetando más PRI, porque sus malas decisiones ocasionan que el PRI siga creciendo. ¿No les quedó claro con el desgobiernos de Ivonne Ortega y de Angélica Araujo? Perdón que insista, pero ellas llegaron por las malas decisiones internas de los panistas.
En el ámbito nacional, como una copia fiel y exacta de lo que sucede en el local. Y por eso tenemos a Peña Nieto desgraciandonos la vida a todos los mexicanos.
Señores militantes, si sus dirigencias y algunos de sus líderes no tomaron buenas decisiones, háganlo ustedes en este estreno de su primera elección para elegir presidente. Hagan historia buena.
