En una nueva polémica decisión, un juez de Control
decidió liberar a Jonathan Rey Torre Alvarado, el joven que atropelló y mató
alcoholizado a una mujer en un paso peatonal.
A pesar de que ultimó a la señora, el sujeto se fue a su
casa, al parecer, sin tener que pagar ninguna garantía económica, pues el juez
Luis Mendoza Casanova consideró que hubo inconsistencias en la carpeta de
investigación.
La decisión es similar a la insólita que tomó la jueza de
Control Elsy Villanueva Segura, quien liberó a ocho traficantes de pepino de
mar y ordenó una investigación contra los policías que los capturaron.
Tras hacer comparecer a los policías que participaron en
la detención, la juzgadora liberó a los violentos traficantes de pepino de mar,
pese a que fueron detenidos en flagrancia cuando capturaban la especie en veda.
En el caso de Jonathan Rey, se reprogramó para el jueves
20 de agosto la audiencia de imputación, en la que se espera que ya estén
subsanadas las cosas que pidió el juez y ahora sí pueda proceder la acusación
contra el joven que atropelló y mató a una mujer que se disponía a cruzar el
paso peatonal frente a la Delegación Oriente de la Cruz Roja.
El sujeto, que iba acompañado de otro joven igual ebrio,
reaccionó cuando empleados de una gasolinera y un supermercado le gritaron que
había arrollado a la mujer, identificada como Olivia Ruz Castillo, de 52 años
de edad, quien sufrió graves heridas que ameritaron su traslado a un hospital,
donde murió poco después.
Jonathan Rey se detuvo, pero no para auxiliar a la
víctima, sino para echar reversa y posteriormente pisar fuertemente el
acelerador para darse a la fuga. Sin embargo, fue detenido en la misma avenida
Quetzalcóatl, unos metros antes de llegar al Periférico.
Como mencionamos ayer, este accidente recuerda el que
protagonizó Jovanny López Conejo el pasado 29 de junio en Ciudad Caucel, donde
atropelló el motocarro en el que iban una pareja que vendía pan. Sin embargo,
las autoridades consideraron que el causante del percance fue el conductor del
vehículo ligero y absolvieron al automovilista borracho.
Este peritaje causó polémica e incluso motivó marchas y
protestas, a tal grado que vecinos de Ciudad Caucel cerraron el Periférico.
Posteriormente se realizó un segundo peritaje al
accidente, pero hasta ahora no se conocen los resultados. Formal Prisión.
