Cómoda ventaja de los nuevos presidentes nacional y estatal de Acción Nacional
Ricardo Anaya Cortés y Raúl Paz Alonzo obtuvieron el triunfo en las elecciones internas del Partido Acción Nacional para elegir a sus presidentes nacional y estatal, respectivamente.
La jornada electoral panista en Yucatán transcurrió con mínimos incidentes y copiosa votación.
Con casi el 100 por ciento de las casillas computadas, Paz Alonzo tenía 5,112 votos y su contrincante, Alfredo Rodríguez y Pacheco, 3,001.
“Le tenderé la mano a toda la gente valiosa del PAN”, afirmó el nuevo presidente panista en Yucatán, quien es diputado federal con licencia y legislador local electo por la vía plurinominal.
“Voy a fomentar la unidad, es el valor principal que nos da cercanía con los ciudadanos”, indicó.
Alfredo Rodríguez reconoció que “los números no me favorecen. Aquí son los votos los que cuentan”. También dijo que el proceso aún no concluye, “analizaremos la información que tenemos y si fuera necesario acudiremos a las instancias conducentes”.
En cuanto a la presidencia nacional panista, la Comisión Nacional Organizadora de la elección informó que con el 79 por ciento de las actas computadas Ricardo Anaya se ubicaba como el virtual triunfador.
El presidente de la Comisión, Héctor Larios, informó que Anaya Cortés aventajaba con 146 mil 63 votos, lo que representaba el 81% de los sufragios emitidos, mientras que su contrincante Javier Corral llevaba 29 mil 928 sufragios, el 16%.

Con esta elección no se acabarán los problemas del partido. Es una lástima que el PAN esté distanciado de la sociedad. Hoy nos ven como un partido cerrado y escogen candidatos con base en coyunturas. Hay que pensar más en la institución. El PAN puede renacer de sus cenizas, pero va a llevar tiempo ganar la credibilidad de nuevo. Hay que regresar a sus principios y reconocer errores.

No creo que los problemas tengan que ver con el partido. Los problemas son las personas porque cada quien tiene su estilo y forma de hacer las cosas. Los problemas son producto del crecimiento del partido y no se van a acabar en una elección. Es normal que mientras más crezca una familia más crecen los problemas. Al conocer las cifras que le dieron el triunfo en las urnas, el presidente electo del Comité Directivo Estatal del PAN, Raúl Paz Alonzo, declaró que a partir de este momento tenderá la mano a todos los panistas para formar un partido fuerte, unido y que sirva a los ciudadanos.

El nuevo líder también fijó su postura sobre la sentencia del tribunal administrativo estatal, que ordena al Ayuntamiento de Mérida al pago de más de $200 millones a una empresa foránea que financió las luminarias chinas: “Mauricio (Vila Dosal, alcalde electo) no estará sólo, tiene el respaldo de su partido que le va a ayudar”.
Un reportero de otro medio informativo le preguntó si Renán Barrera Concha es culpable en el caso de las lámparas chinas.
“Él tomó una decisión correcta. La iluminación era deficiente”, subrayó. “Faltan recursos legales y hay otras autoridades”.
“¿Qué le falta al PAN para ser un partido de oposición?”, preguntó el reportero del Diario.

Paz Alonzo obtuvo, según cifras preliminares, 5,112 votos y su contrincante Alfredo Rodríguez y Pacheco, 3,001. Junto con Paz Alonzo, fue electo el secretario general Manuel Rodríguez Baqueiro y siete integrantes de la comitiva estatal que estará tres años en el cargo.
En la elección nacional, Ricardo Anaya Cortés ganó en Yucatán con 5,161 votos (68%) por 2,365 de Javier Corral Jurado (31%).

Como se esperaba, la elección interna del Partido Acción Nacional fue copiosa, tranquila y con una exigencia de los militantes: que se acaben los problemas internos, retomen la doctrina del partido y que el PAN sea una verdadera oposición.
El presidente de la Comisión Organizadora de la Elección del Comité Directivo Estatal del PAN, Sergio Angulo Uc, informó que al mediodía de ayer las 73 casillas abrieron en tiempo y recibieron la votación en todos los municipios de Yucatán.
Hasta esa hora no había reporte de incidentes o denuncias de actos ilegales por parte de los candidatos o sus equipos de colaboradores.
El centro de votación instalado en el comité directivo municipal tuvo constante flujo de votantes. Allí depositaron sus votos los candidatos Alfredo Rodríguez y Pacheco y Raúl Paz Alonzo.
Alfredo Rodríguez se presentó a las 11 de la mañana para votar con varios integrantes de su planilla, entre ellos Julio Sauma Castillo, candidato a la secretaría general; Arturo Novelo Dorantes y Juan de Dios Collí Maas. Se formó en la fila como un militante más hasta que tocó su turno.
Julio Sauma hizo fila, pero no votó en ese lugar porque al presentar su credencial lo ubicaron al Distrito III, cuya casilla se instaló en el estacionamiento del Palacio Municipal meridano.

“Hay que estar conscientes de que la sociedad no confía de todo en el PAN como en el pasado”, reconoció. “Queremos despertar el interés de los ciudadanos para que más adelante cosechemos los triunfos, que una buena parte de la sociedad lo desea”.
Reconoció que los errores cometidos y la falta de cumplimiento en las expectativas de los ciudadanos han alejado a los votantes, además de que el gobierno se ha encargado en parte de crear la imagen de que todos los políticos son iguales.
Por su parte, Paz Alonzo dijo que el PAN es el único partido que hace este proceso democrático para elegir a sus dirigentes y esperaba el apoyo de los panistas porque visitó todos los municipios, habló con la militancia, y sabe qué PAN quiere y necesita la gente. “Eso vamos a construir”, declaró.
También expuso que votó por Ricardo Anaya porque tiene coincidencia con su proyecto de fomentar la unidad, buscar la regeneración y cree en la reconciliación de los panistas.
El diputado plurinominal ofreció que si le favorecían los votos para dirigir al partido donaría su sueldo de presidente para reforzar a los comités municipales y que no será líder de la bancada del Congreso.

En la jornada se denunció padrones rasurados, acarreos, empujones, “dimes y diretes” entre coordinadores que llevaban a la gente a votar, reparto de desayunos y almuerzos; e incluso presión hacia los militantes para favorecer a algún candidato. Constantemente se repartía agua en bolsitas a los militantes debido al fuerte sol.
