The City Council drew attention and put a warning to the company Pamplona garbage collection due to failures in the services that the addresses are assigned, Roger Calero Echeverria, director of municipal utilities reported.
He warned that if delays continue in that service schedules, Pamplona subsequently receive warnings and fines. If nevertheless the situation is not corrected, then you will cancel the grant, as happened with the company Supsa.
He said that every month have grown among users receiving complaints from Pamplona collection, which has allocated about 65,000 households, 25% of land in the city.
In April, he explained, there were 282 non-conformities against the dealer; in May they rose to 370 in June grew further and reached 411 in July continued the problem and were 665 complaints. So far this August already accumulated 828.
From April to date, the number of complaints from users almost reached 200%.
"The quality of service fell dramatically," he said.
Roger Echeverria stated that if the company is further behind in the time to remove garbage from the homes, the Commune made that task and expense would be charged to Pamplona.
The interviewee said that the city keeps a constant eye on the four pickers: Servilimpia, Pamplona, Sana and Corbase.
Every month there are meetings between officials and managers of these service providers, but in the case of Pamplona began to have weekly meetings following the increase in complaints. Even council members of the Public Service Commission were part of these meetings.
In these managers of the dealership offered solve the failures but do not meet, for that reason they were issued a warning, as the regulation of the sector.
The official pointed out that the City meets promptly give all dealers matching grants for the service, which equals 10% of the fee they charge users more $ 3 for each address.
He said Pamplona argues that the service fee is low, has not changed since 2009, affecting their income. But perhaps the problem is that the company does not have an effective system of collection in homes where it gives service.
