sin tener que depositar una garantía económica por el trágico accidente que
propició en la avenida Quetzalcóatl.
El juez Luis Armando Mendoza Casanova tampoco aceptó que
se le impusiera un brazalete electrónico para evitar que se sustraiga de la
acción de la justicia.
En lo que fue la segunda audiencia de imputación, tras
ordenar el juez que se repusiera la primera por inconsistencias en la detención
del sujeto, todo quedó prácticamente igual, y se citó para la diligencia de
vinculación el próximo martes 25 de agosto.
Los representantes de la Fiscalía General del Estado
solicitaron al juez imponer al procesado las siguientes medidas cautelares: la
presentación de una garantía económica suficiente, la prohibición de salir del
Estado, presentarse a firmar periódicamente ante una autoridad judicial y la
colocación de un dispositivo electrónico.

cautelar de cárcel preventiva.

cometió, por lo que encontró necesaria la imposición de las medidas cautelares
solicitadas por la Fiscalía, consistentes en la prohibición de salir del Estado
de Yucatán y presentarse a firmar ante la administración del juzgado los días viernes
y lunes.
El juez explicó en la audiencia que no accedió a la
medida cautelar de la imposición de garantía suficiente, debido a que los
fiscales no motivaron ni fundamentaron su petición, ya que no pidieron una
cantidad en específico.
En el caso de la colocación del dispositivo electrónico,
dijo, esta solicitud resulta incongruente, puesto que su cobertura restringe la
movilidad en el primer distrito judicial del Estado, básicamente la ciudad de
Mérida, lo que se contrapone a la prohibición de salir del Estado, que ya
habían solicitado como primera medida los fiscales.
El pasado 15 de agosto, Torres Alvarado atropelló y mató
a una mujer que se disponía a cruzar el paso peatonal frente a la Delegación
Oriente de la Cruz Roja.
El sujeto, que iba acompañado de otro joven igual ebrio,
reaccionó cuando empleados de una gasolinera y un supermercado le gritaron que
había arrollado a la mujer, identificada como Olivia Ruz Castillo, de 52 años
de edad, quien sufrió graves heridas que ameritaron su traslado a un hospital,
donde murió poco después.
