Obligan a funcionarios a caminar descalzos por retraso en obra (Bilingüe)

México.- A manera de protesta por el retraso de un año en el arreglo de las dos calles principales del municipio de Teopisca, pobladores tomaron la alcaldía y obligaron a caminar descalzos por las arterias descompuestas a dos funcionarios del ayuntamiento y al representante de la constructora ALZ.

Los inconformes también bloquearon las entradas y salidas de la ciudad para exigir al alcalde priista,Guadalupe Esquivel García, concluir las obras y la introducción de drenaje y agua potable en las avenidas.

Alrededor de 300 habitantes se dieron cita en el parque central para analizar las acciones a realizar para ejercer presión sobre el alcalde, al considerar que su obligación es trabajar por el bienestar de los ciudadanos y donde las más indignadas eran un grupo de mujeres.

Después de las 18 horas, los inconformes tomaron posesión de la Alcaldía y retuvieron al síndico del ayuntamiento, Julio César Díaz Moreno, al director de obras del municipio, Javier Alberto Morales, aGuadalupe Zúñiga, secretaria particular del edil y a José Alfredo Grajales, ingeniero de la constructora ALZ, quienes alegaron en su defensa que no existen personas suficientes para concluir el trabajo, argumento que no convenció a los inconformes.

Después de las 22 horas y sin la presencia del alcalde, los pobladores obligaron a los retenidos a quitarse los zapatos y caminar durante 20 minutos por las calles en mal estado y cubiertas de lodo.

After 22 hours without the presence of the mayor, the villagers forced the detainees to remove their shoes and walk for 20 minutes through the streets in disrepair and covered in mud.
