Yucatán es uno de los primeros estados en beneficiarse con el Programa de Inclusión y Alfabetización Digital.
Mérida, Yucatán, 18 de agosto de 2015.- Con una inversión superior a los 85 millones de pesos, Yucatán se convirtió en una de las primeras entidades del país en activar el Programa de Inclusión y Alfabetización Digital, que distribuirá a todos los estudiantes de quinto grado de primarias públicas un total de 39 mil 487 tabletas electrónicas para mejorar sus condiciones de estudio, fortalecer los procesos de enseñanza y reducir las brechas en el uso de herramientas digitales.
El Gobernador Rolando Zapata Bello encabezó la presentación de dicho esquema en el estado, que entrará en funciones a partir del nuevo curso escolar y que también beneficiará a mil 667 profesores. Estos implementos tecnológicos se entregarán de manera gratuita y no será necesaria la conexión a Internet para su funcionalidad.
Tras recibir el acta de recepción del Programa de índole federal, el titular del Poder Ejecutivo indicó que con este esquema, impulsado por el Presidente Enrique Peña Nieto, Yucatán consolida su incorporación al mundo digital en los espacios educativos rurales y urbanos, acción que se suma al trabajo de las aulas digitales y las computadoras que otorga Bienestar Digital.
Asimismo, durante el evento realizado en Bodegas Yucatán, el mandatario aseguró que estas herramientas coadyuvarán en la formación de un capital humano y a la altura de las exigencias del mundo moderno y global.
Esto nos va a permitir dar un paso muy importante en esa visión de un Yucatán que vincula su economía a las tecnologías de la información y comunicación, además de que fija sus líneas de desarrollo con base en un soporte científico, tecnológico y de investigación, al saberse que las futuras generaciones poseen fortalezas para las matemáticas y el uso de las computadoras, agregó el Gobernador.
Al dar detalles, el titular de la Secretaría de Educación estatal (Segey), Raúl Godoy Montañez, explicó que todos los dispositivos que se distribuirán en las escuelas del estado fueron sometidos a una verificación técnica y de contenidos, incluso a una prueba de caída, para comprobar su funcionalidad.
El secretario agregó que del 31 de agosto al 4 de septiembre, las tabletas serán entregadas a los Centros de Desarrollo Educativo (CEDE) de Tizimín, Valladolid, Yaxcabá, Izamal, Motul, Peto, Tekax, Ticul, Maxcanú, Hunucmá y Mérida, para posteriormente llegar a las manos de los alumnos y maestros.
El director de Educación Primaria del Estado, Delio Peniche Novelo, mencionó que los aparatos funcionan con el sistema operativo Windows 8.1 y cuentan con procesadores de textos, hoja de cálculo, programas de trabajo como Word y Power Point, así como una fonoteca y ejercicios proporcionados por la Comisión Nacional para el Conocimiento y Uso de la Biodiversidad (Conabio).
En este sentido, agregó que también incluyen el módulo conocido como Aprende MX que permite a los alumnos aprovechar contenidos de las materias de Ciencias Naturales, Educación Artística, Física, Cívica y Ética, Español, Matemáticas, Historia y Geografía.
Los dispositivos también darán acceso a temas de alimentación, convivencia escolar, cuidado de datos personales, economía familiar, salud, zonas arqueológicas del país y acciones a realizar en caso de desastre.
Al hacer uso de la palabra, el delegado de la Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP) en el estado, Wilberth Chi Góngora, aseguró que las tabletas, sumadas al programa de Bienestar Digital, fortalecerán la autonomía de los alumnos en el uso de la tecnología y les servirán como un material formativo similar a los libros de texto.
Asistieron el delegado del Consejo Nacional de Fomento Educativo (Conafe), Carlos Carrillo Paredes; el director de Educación Indígena de la Segey, Santiago Arellano Tuz; el diputado federal Mauricio Sahuí Rivero, y la diputada local Flor Díaz Castillo.
