Los días 18 y 19 de septiembre Mérida será sede de la V edición LGBT (lésbico, gay, bisexual y transgénero) Confex, Foro Internacional de Negocios 2015.
Considerado el evento más importante para los negocios LGBT en América Latina, el foro, a realizarse en el Centro de Convenciones Yucatán Siglo XXI, contará con un programa que incluye exposiciones, reuniones de negocios, conferencias, eventos de networking, talleres y diversas actividades sociales.
En rueda de prensa realizada en el hotel Hampton Inn, Rubén Sandoval, CEO & Founder LGBT Confex, y Ron Kuijpers, embajador de IGLTA (Internacional Gay & Lesbian Travel Asociation) en México, señalaron que en las presentaciones y talleres educativos se tendrá la presencia de líderes LGBT, centrados en las plataformas de Turismo, Corporativo, Cine, Académico, Moda, Empresarial, Tecnología y Medios de Comunicación.
Rubén Sandoval dijo que de acuerdo con datos recientes la población mundial LGBT en la actualidad se estima en 450 millones de personas, con un poder adquisitivo estimado en 3.7 trillones de dólares.
Señaló que en México la población LGBT se estima en ocho millones, con un poder adquisitivo de 65 mil millones de dólares.
La Ciudad Blanca
El organizador explicó que la cultura de la ciudad, su infraestructura, tranquilidad y por ser una urbe y en general un estado con innumerables atractivos turísticos, fueron decisivos para seleccionarla como sede de su quinta reunión anual.
Los organizadores esperan la asistencia de unas 250 personas al evento, de los cuales el 60% serían participantes locales.
La inauguración oficial será el 18 de septiembre en el Gran Museo del Mundo Maya, a las ocho de la noche. Megamedia.

Ruben Sandoval said that according to recent data the LGBT world population is currently estimated at 450 million people, with an estimated $ 3.7 trillion in purchasing power.
He noted that in Mexico the LGBT population is estimated at eight million, with a purchasing power of 65 billion dollars.
The White City
