Con los ya tradicionales eventos en Mérida, Progreso y Dzemul, familiares y amigos del extinto gobernador Víctor Cervera Pacheco conmemoraron el décimo primero aniversario de su muerte, y a quien recordaron como una “Leyenda Viva”.
El primero de los eventos fue la misa que el Frente Único de Trabajadores del Volante (FUTV) ofreció en el Panteón Florido, donde se encuentra su lápida.
Por cierto en este evento Monseñor Manuel Vargas Góngora, quien oficiaba la misa, al ver llegar tarde a la ex gobernadora Ivonne Ortega Pacheco, le dijo “adelante, no te preocupes, aquí no te van a chiflar, estás en casa”, lo que causó risa en algunos presentes.
El comentario fue en alusión a la rechifla que le hicieron a la ex gobernadora en la misa del nuevo arzobispo Gustavo Rodríguez Vega, a lo que el padre Vargas Góngora comentó en la misa que fue una falta de respeto.
El segundo evento fue en la Casa del Pueblo, donde se hizo una reseña de la vida de Cervera Pacheco y se depositaron ofrendas florales ante su monumento.
En esta actividad, el diputado federal electo, Felipe Cervera Hernández al agradecer la organización del acto hizo un llamado a la unidad y el trabajo, sobre todo en torno a sus autoridades, en este caso el gobernador Rolando Zapata Bello presente en el evento, por ser de las premisas que aprendió de su padre, unidad y trabajo.
Los otros dos eventos consisten en una sesión de Cabildo en el Ayuntamiento de Progreso al mediodía y por la tarde una ofrenda floral en su tierra natal Dzemul. Megamedia.
