Más de 60 personas con alguna discapacidad participan en el primer Campamento Incluyente de Verano 2015 que organiza el Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (DIF) Yucatán, a fin de garantizarles su derecho al acceso igualitario a actividades recreativas, así como fortalecer su integración social, según se informa en un comunicado.
Previo al banderazo de salida efectuado en el Centro de Convenciones Siglo XXI, la presidenta del organismo asistencial, Sarita Blancarte Canto de Zapata, convivió con los asistentes al tiempo de desearles un viaje lleno de experiencias positivas y nuevos conocimientos.
Por su parte, el director general del DIF estatal, José Limber Sosa Lara, detalló que la planeación del encuentro, que se efectuará en la Riviera Maya, estuvo a cargo de personal del Centro de Rehabilitación y Educación Especial (CREE), experto en el tema de discapacidad.
“Agradecemos que padres y madres de familia nos confíen a sus hijos, que durante una semana intercambiarán experiencias que les permitirán reflexionar y ampliar su aprendizaje. Sepan que viajarán bajo todas las condiciones de seguridad y con médicos y especialistas de distintas disciplinas”, indicó.
Señaló que participan infantes y adultos con discapacidad motora, auditiva, visual e intelectual de asociaciones civiles como Patronato Peninsular Pro Niños con Deficiencia Mental, “Construyendo sonrisas”, Club Especial Ayelem, Centro para la Inclusión y la Atención de Personas con Discapacidad Visual en Yucatán, Terapeutas Unidos con Discapacidad y “Santiago Navarro Silva”.
Además, más de 20 expertos en este ámbito desarrollarán un amplio programa, en un ambiente de recreación y trabajo en equipo, que incluirá talleres, pláticas, dinámicas, actividades de playa y muestras artísticas.
Asistieron al banderazo de salida de los autobuses adaptados, el delegado del Consejo Nacional de Fomento Educativo en Yucatán, Carlos Manuel Carrillo Paredes; el gerente de Cines Siglo XXI, Álvaro Chan Navarrete y regidores del Ayuntamiento de Mérida.
Los participantes forman parte de varias asociaciones civiles como el Patronato Peninsular Pro Niños con Deficiencia Mental, Club Especial Ayelem, “Construyendo sonrisas”, Centro para la Inclusión y Atención de Personas con Discapacidad Visual en Yucatán, “Santiago Navarro Silva” y Terapeutas Unidos con Discapacidad.
