Raúl Paz Alonzo, candidato a dirigir el Comité Estatal del PAN, llamó a los panistas a construir un partido optimista, triunfador y unido, que brinde a los yucatecos la oportunidad real de ganar la gubernatura y la mayoría de las presidencias municipales y las diputaciones en las elecciones de 2018.
—Los militantes del PAN tienen la enorme responsabilidad de construir un partido que le sirva a los yucatecos —sostuvo el aspirante en una reunión en el interior del Estado.
—Por eso en cada reunión insisto: los panistas debemos encontrar un campo común de pensamiento y de acción. Esta es la virtud que hoy requiere más el PAN: unidad, no conmigo, sino entre todos —aseveró.
—Los panistas debemos construir un partido que encauce la inconformidad del ciudadano contra la simbiosis PRI-gobierno que nos empobrece cada día más, y que sea un opción real de bien común desde el gobierno del Estado, las alcaldías y los congresos —añadió.
—En el foro de hace unos días escuché leer una lista de lo mal que nos fue en las elecciones recientes: que perdimos esto, que perdimos lo otro, etcétera, etcétera, y por un momento me pareció que el objetivo era contagiar a la militancia de pesimismo —añadió el diputado federal con licencia.
—Un PAN con pesimismo nunca va a ganar nada. De nada nos sirve que nos llenemos de pesimismo unos a otros. Lo que necesitamos es otra actitud y un proyecto muy bien organizado que genere los cambios que nos hagan ganar las elecciones de 2018. Hay que decidirse por un nuevo rumbo y crear un acervo nuevo de ideas —subrayó.
—Conozco a panistas que se levantan a las 5 de la mañana para ir a Mérida a trabajar o a estudiar y cuando regresan, en la noche, aunque estén cansados, salen a ver a sus vecinos y piden el voto para nuestros candidatos, que se apuntan para cuidar las casillas, que salen a pegar propaganda, que se presentan en los Comités y preguntan en qué pueden ayudar.
—En Mérida, muchos panistas tienen que agarrar dos camiones para ir a la escuela o a la chamba y cuidar a los hijos y trabajar todo el día, y luego están ahí listos para volantear durante horas bajo el Sol, para apoyar a los candidatos, para caminar las calles. El optimismo de estos panistas, los del interior y los de la capital, los hace súperpanistas. Y por eso necesitamos un súper Comité Estatal.
—Estos panistas ya saben cómo ganar elecciones. Son panistas dispuestos a sostener una bandera. Y el común denominador de todos ellos es que trabajan unidos y no divididos. A los panistas no los dividen las opiniones diferentes ni las simpatías por un candidato o por otro, o las aspiraciones de cada uno. Nada de eso.
—Nos dividen quienes cultivan apetitos personales, prejuicios y resentimientos. Nos dividen quienes prefieren la crítica interesada en lugar de la participación transformadora. Los que prefieren negarse y combatirse —manifestó el candidato al liderazgo panista.
