A fin de reforzar y mejorar el servicio de atención y traslado de pacientes del Estado, el Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS), delegación Yucatán, recibió seis nuevas ambulancias, con lo que suman un total de 39 al servicio de los derechohabientes de esta institución, se informa en un comunicado.
Estas nuevas unidades fueron dotadas por la Dirección General del Instituto como parte del programa de Renovación del Parque Vehicular de Ambulancias del Seguro Social, y contribuirán a garantizar el traslado programado y ordinario que requieren algunos pacientes.
En el Estado, en promedio a nivel delegacional, al mes 7,000 pacientes requieren el traslado en ambulancias del IMSS.
Dicho servicio es otorgado por el instituto a pacientes que necesitan atención urgente, así como para casos que se presentan en clínicas de medicina familiar y que requieren llevar al enfermo a hospitales de segundo nivel.
Asimismo, para movilización de pacientes hospitalizados que necesitan estudios especializados, y para transportación al domicilio de los enfermos que egresan de algún hospital y cuando sus condiciones de salud no son óptimas para viajar en vehículo convencional.
También estuvieron presentes los integrantes del Consejo Consultivo del Seguro Social, quienes hicieron la entrega de las llaves de las unidades a los operadores, teniendo como testigos a los directores de las unidades de medicina familiar y hospitales a las que fueron designadas.
El titular de la Jefatura de Servicios Administrativos, Eduardo Sánchez Rangel, informó que estos nuevos vehículos sustituyen a igual número de ambulancias que venían operando en las sedes médicas y hospitales.
Los nuevos vehículos fueron designados según las necesidades registradas y ya se encuentran dando servicio a los pacientes de los hospitales generales regionales No. 1 “Lic. Ignacio García Téllez”, No. 12 “Lic. Benito Juárez Garcia”; en los hospitales generales de sub zona No. 03 de Motul; 05, Tizimín, y 46, Umán, así como en la Unidad de Medicina Familiar No. 2 de Progreso.
Sánchez Rangel señaló que los vehículos son modelo 2015 y están equipados con tanques de oxígeno, carro camilla, camilla marinera, cuatro reanimadores tipo bolsa para neonato, lactante, pediátrico y adulto; glucómetro, termómetro digital y mascarillas protectoras, así como radio de transmisor (banda civil), micrófono y sirena, entre otros equipos.
El directivo indicó que con la puesta en operación de estas ambulancias se reforzará la plantilla vehicular actual y se beneficiará de manera directa a los derechohabientes del instituto.

The head of the Chief of Administrative Services, Eduardo Sanchez Rangel, said that these new vehicles replace the same number of ambulances were operating in medical offices and hospitals.

The manager said that with the commissioning of these ambulances current vehicular template will be strengthened and will benefit directly to the beneficiaries of the institute.
