PROGRESO.— Cuando se pensaba que los efectos de la marea roja ya habían pasado y no afectarían a la pesca ni a las vacaciones de verano, de nuevo recalan en las costas del municipio peces, pulpos y hasta langostas vivas.
Además, ayer el mar amaneció turbio con fuerte olor a lodo y sargazo, lo que podría repercutir en lo que queda del período vacacional, pues los temporadistas de la zona veraniega de Chelem y Chuburná optaron por no entrar a bañarse.
La franja costera desde Chicxulub, malecón, playón Poniente, Chelem y hasta Chuburná estaba turbia y se sentía fuerte olor a sargazo, pero las algas marinas aún no recalaban en la playa, en cambio sí arriban peces vivos, en su mayoría pequeños, como lenguados, rayas, pez globo, entre otros.
En el playón Poniente los pescadores Santos Santiago Cruz Canché y José Pérez Ojeda recorrían la playa después de retornar de pesca, cuando en la orilla vieron recalar pulpos pequeños y langostas. Megamedia.
