AUSTIN, 12 de agosto.- El estado de Texasejecutó al preso Daniel López, un hispano de 27 años que había pedido acelerar la aplicación de su condena a muerte, impuesta por atropellar a un policía en 2009.
A López lo declararon muerto a las 18:31 hora local, quince minutos después de recibir una inyección letal en la cárcel de Huntsville, según notificó el Departamento de Justicia Criminal del estado sureño.

AUSTIN, 12 August.- The state of Texas executed a prisoner Daniel López , one Hispanic aged 27 who had asked to accelerate the implementation of the death sentence imposed by running over to police in 2009 .
A Lopez was pronounced dead at 18:31 local time, fifteen minutes after receiving a lethal injection in Huntsville prison, as reported by the Department of Criminal Justice of the southern state.
