CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, 9 de agosto.- Carlos Navarrete formalizó su salida de la dirigencia nacional del PRD, donde aún no cumple el año de haber sido electo.

Ante el mismo Consejo Nacional que lo eligió hace diez meses como presidente del sol azteca para un periodo de tres años, Navarrete admitió que la renuncia de sus principales liderazgos como Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas y Andrés Manuel López Obrador, así como la conformación de un nuevo partido de izquierda y la desaparición de los 43 estudiantes normalistas de Ayot-
zinapa, Guerrero, colocaron al PRD en su más profunda crisis.

A esta situación de debilitamiento del PRD se debe sumar el que Marcelo Ebrard no fuera elegido como diputado plurinominal de este partido y buscara respaldo en otro instituto político, además del “evidente desgaste” que han sufrido las administraciones perredistas en la capital del país, dijo.

Consideró que, si bien no se obtuvo el mejor escenario consistente en ganar las gubernaturas de Guerrero y Michoacán, alcanzar el 15% de la preferencia electoral y mantener la mayoría en el Distrito Federal, tampoco se llegó al peor pronóstico de no ganar ninguna gubernatura.

Consideró también que el partido debe transformarse ante la nueva realidad del país.

“De no hacerlo corremos el riesgo de ir debilitando nuestro proyecto político hasta ponerlo en riesgo”, alertó.
