El Consulado Americano en la Península de Yucatán
presentó este día a su nuevo titular, David Micó, quien dijo que más allá de
los asuntos consulares y de ciudadanía continuará trabajando en fomentar lazos
en los intercambios educativos y de cultura.
En rueda de prensa acompañado de la titular de la sección
consular Suzanne Mcguire, expresó que es “lujo venir aquí, muchas gente quiere
venir acá”, ya que se habla de que es una ciudad segura.
-La función principal de un cónsul es apoyo a los que
buscan tener puentes de entendimiento entre dos países, es un lugar que muchos
estadounidenses han escogido como punto de residencia y otros como de
descanso-, agregó David Micó, quien se presentó y saludo uno por uno a los

-Es importante promover las inversiones, el comercio y el
turismo entre México y Estados Unidos, hay que buscar colaborar, son
prioridades, partimos de una muy buena base, tengo la confianza de que así será
