MUNA.— Al menos cinco lesionados con arma blanca, entre ellos tres de gravedad, fue el saldo de un enfrentamiento entre dos bandas rivales de esta villa.
La trifulca ocurrió anteanoche poco después de las nueve, en el campo de béisbol ubicado en la salida rumbo a Mérida, donde se realizan corridas desde hace días.
De acuerdo con los datos obtenidos, las autoridades policíacas aún desconocen los motivos del conflicto, aunque trascendió que se trató de un ajuste de cuentas entre las pandillas de los “Piedreros” y los “Vaqueritos”.
El pleito comenzaría cerca del lugar donde se venden cervezas. La Policía Municipal recibió el reporte cuando la riña ya había dejado cinco lesionados con arma punzocortante.
Al lugar llegó una unidad de la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública (SSP). Por la gravedad de sus lesiones, uno de los pandilleros fue llevado de urgencia en una ambulancia del Ayuntamiento con un doctor particular. La misma ambulancia trasladó a otros dos lesionados al IMSS de Umán.
Uno de los afectados, quien se identificó como Luis Felipe Domínguez Mugarte, de 35 años de edad, recibió tres heridas en la espalda.
Jesús Alejandro González Tolosa, de 17 años, sufrió heridas en el pecho. Fue trasladado al hospital O’Horán de Mérida en una ambulancia de la SSP.
También fue herido con arma blanca Juan Daniel Zapata Tuyuc, de 21 años, quien recibió ocho heridas en la espalda y una en la mano derecha.
Tras el pleito arribaron unas 10 patrullas de la SSP con agentes que implementaron un operativo para dar con los responsables. No se confirmó si hubo detenidos.
Los vecinos lamentaron que a más de una semana de que terminaron los festejos de la Virgen de la Asunción, las autoridades permitan que sigan los eventos taurinos, que terminan en horas de la madrugada.
