Cuando el presidente local de la Canacintra, Mario Can Marín, avaló la reestructuración de la próxima administración municipal de Mérida dijo que no le gustaría que “por ahorrar se dejen de hacer cosas en favor de la ciudad”, y propuso una revisión administrativa y operativa periódica de ese modelo de gobierno.
Como informamos, el alcalde electo Mauricio Vila Dosal anunció anteayer una reestructuración operativa que incluyó la desaparición de la Oficialía Mayor y la fusión de varias direcciones en tres grandes coordinaciones: Administración, Funcionamiento Urbano y Política Comunitaria.
El contador público Can Marín deseó que el alcalde electo integre bien a sus funcionarios porque la mayoría son puntales del Partido Acción Nacional, siendo importante que trabajen con una visión de mejoría para la ciudad y no por un retroceso en la calidad de servicios.
Sobre este mismo tema, el líder de la Canacome, José Manuel López Campos, consideró que el reajuste de la burocracia generará bienes por la creación de infraestructura y programas, además de permitir que el gobierno por iniciar afronte de mejor manera un posible recorte de las participaciones federales o reducción del presupuesto federal.
“Ojalá ese ahorro que dice el alcalde electo se invierta en infraestructura y en servicios, para que no se deteriore lo que logró la actual administración y se mejore”, señaló. “La ventaja que tiene la administración entrante es que tendrá dos ex alcaldes que conocen la estructura del Ayuntamiento”.
El arquitecto López Campos afirmó que el alcalde electo debe tener claro que su deber será conseguir mejores resultados con menos recursos y sugirió que fije indicadores para que cada coordinación sea evaluada en forma trimestral.
Otra demanda del sector comercial es que la administración entrante mantenga la transparencia, la coordinación con los comités ciudadanos y los buenos servicios públicos.
Álvaro Mimenza Aguiar, presidente local de la Canirac, calificó como acertados el reajuste de la estructura municipal y la ratificación de directores del actual gabinete de Renán Barrera porque darán continuidad al trabajo. Además, ello es un reconocimiento a su buen desempeño.
“La administración que está por iniciar su período tiene dos campos de oportunidades para trabajar”, explicó. “El primero es que ciudadanice el trabajo municipal con caras nuevas que no provengan de su partido (el PAN), y el segundo que cree un Instituto Anticorrupción Ciudadano que no dependa del Ayuntamiento”.
Mimenza Aguiar elogió la reducción del 20% de los puestos de confianza porque de esa manera evitan gastos excesivos al Ayuntamiento.
Al opinar de la reestructuración, el alcalde Renán Barrera declaró que le parece válido que cualquier autoridad iniciante pueda reajustar su equipo. Entiende que el contexto nacional no es muy halagador y la nueva administración busca mayor eficiencia.
“Para mí es una gran satisfacción que hayan ratificado a siete directores”, dijo el mandatario. “Es el número más alto de repetición de un gobierno de Acción Nacional y eso habla de la capacidad, del equipo de trabajo y del profesionalismo de cada uno de ellos”.
“Los que se quedan que redoblen esfuerzos, que hagan diez veces mejor el trabajo que hicieron conmigo”, pidió. “La experiencia que adquirieron les dará mejores fortalezas”.
